Erasmus + is a great opportunity for educational institutions of every kind. Provides grants for a wide range of actions for learners to undertake work placements abroad (MORE INFO) and for education staff to attend training courses (MORE INFO) or teach abroad. (MORE INFO)

As you know, the Erasmus + KA1 provides lump sum amounts to cover some costs.

In particular for each participant (teacher - professor - staff member ) provides:

  • A lump sum amount of 70-140 euros per day to cover board, lodging, local transport
  • A lump sum amount of 70 euros per day to cover the course fee
  • A lump sum amount that depend on the distance from your city to the course venue to cover the travel cost (http://ec.europa.eu/dgs/education_culture/tools/distance_en.htm)
  • A lump sum amount of 350 euros to cover costs directly linked to the implementation of the training (preparation,monitoring and support during mobility, validation and dissemination activities).

MOBILITY PROJECT FOR VET LEARNERS AND STAFF

This activity is open to both apprentices and students in vocational training schools. These learners undertake a vocational training placement in another country. Learners are hosted either at a workplace (in an enterprise or other relevant organisation) or at a VET school (with periods of work-based learning in an enterprise or other relevant organisation). Erasmus+ supports learning mobility of staff that:

- is framed into a strategic approach of the participating organisations (aimed at modernising and internationalising their mission);

- responds to clearly identified staff development needs and is accompanied by appropriate selection, preparation and follow-up measures;

- ensures that the learning outcomes of participating staff are properly recognised and ensures that the learning outcomes are disseminated and widely used within the organisation.
